This painting is a depiction of an area near New Meadows, Idaho. I love the bends in this small river and the red bushes on the banks. I added the bull moose crossing the river and then added the other moose seen to the left, to create drama. There is a small cabin in the meadow above the moose on the right. A lot of us would like to live in a beautiful spot like this. I am lucky enough to be one of them.

Coeur d'Alene is a destination resort on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene. The lake, old buildings, cars, landscapes, wildlife and local scenes are the subject of many of my "Americana like" paintings.
