This is Mt. Moran at sunrise as seen from the banks of the Snake River at a place called the Oxbow bend. It is located in the Teton National Park near Jackson, Nevada. My favorite mountain of my favorite mountain range.

Paul Hill lives and paints in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Born and raised in Idaho, I enjoy painting subjects that are local, regional and familiar. Coeur d'Alene is a destination resort on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene. The lake, old buildings, cars, landscapes, wildlife and local scenes are the subject of many of my "Americana like" paintings. I feel like we need to capture moments in time of places, buildings, cars, etc., before they are all gone. It is my intent to do as good a job as I can to make a scene artistically correct and visually pleasing while still capturing the essence of the subject.
