Artist's Description
This is a painting of Highway 50, "the loneliest road in America", between Austin Nevada and Reno. The cloud cover has created interesting shadow images on the distant mountains and across the highway and desert. There are a lot of places on highway 50 that look like this. About Paul K Hill
Paul Hill lives and paints in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Born and raised in Idaho, I enjoy painting subjects that are local, regional and familiar. Thanks Chance. It is awesome! I suggest catching it in western Utah and riding to Reno. Great vistas and quiet. Couple cool towns to see, the nicest which is Eureka. There is also an old pony express stop near Fallon, Nv that has good food and cold beer. You will not be disappointed.

Paul K Hill replied:
Thanks Chance! Go give it a ride and do some painting while you're there. You will love it.
